Wow, interesting offer considering Sling Media is still a relatively unknown, great technology mind you, but with just over 150,000 in the field and a once off retail price tag (no recurring on going revenue streams) http://www.slingmedia.com/slingbox/
I think it may be a lot of money being thrown at a cool piece of technology because it’s cool not necessarily because it’s a good investment. (kind of like the investment dollars being thrown at Sirius and XM radio yet ignoring terrestrial radio).
Everything that Slingbox is offering can already be delivered via Myth TV (and more) makes you wonder how much MythTV as a user base is worth. www.mythtv.org
